Memo Volt side effects: common questions
Does Memo Volt have side effects?
The most commonly reported issue is stomach upset in the first week, usually from taking the capsule on an empty stomach.
Does it interact with medications?
Yes. Berberine inhibits CYP3A4, CYP2D6, CYP2C9 and P-glycoprotein, which can raise blood levels of many medicines. Fucoidan has blood-thinning activity. Four ingredients lower blood sugar.
Who should not take it?
Anyone under 18, anyone pregnant or nursing, anyone on a blood thinner without medical advice, anyone with a hormone-sensitive condition who has not checked about the kudzu, and anyone with surgery within two weeks.
Can you take it with diabetes medicine?
Not without speaking to your prescriber. Four ingredients lower blood sugar and the effects stack.
Can you take it with blood thinners?
Ask a doctor first. Fucoidan has anticoagulant activity because its structure resembles heparin.
Stop before surgery?
Yes, at least two weeks before, and tell your surgical team.
